Over a decade later, version 1 few artists have been picked up, 2019 “Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2” base was Kabaddi game. The film moves towards 80’s and entire concept taken out in a village area. “Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2” holds up the relationship between a father and with the son. Actually, such strong bond couldn’t experiences out.
“Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2” gives the energy by overlapping 1980‘s songs on sequences, the reason is hero Saravanan (Vikranth), who had an own soundtrack shop and he falls in love with a girl, when she was travelling in the bus. After all the love sequels project on screen. Parallel, Saravanan’s father Samy (Pasupathi), who is an erstwhile Kabbadi player.
Unfortunately, Saravanan doesn’t show any interest in Kabaddi game and refuses his father’s dream. In this scenario, winning moment was sacrificed by Samy, Saravanan’s childhood made a tremendous collapse in Samy’s life.
When Samy was irresponsible and loses his job everything made Saravanan to detest his father., Saravanan mother who explicit past life of Samy and worried about his father’s misfortune. Which Saravanan moves to the place, where the Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu split out. With his intelligence how the way
Saravanan joins the team together and getting success in the game is the balance script.
Nothing, distinctive concept is overlooked, Vikranth always shows his simple elements in the performance, Pasupathi best in father’s eccentric. The songs are not much catchy. Only the old songs are fixed in the mind.
Verdict: rural drama – doesn’t hold constant energy throughout the film.
