The Autism Spectrum Disorder is a developmental disability that can have significant implications on a child’s ability to function and interface with the world around them. The three main domains that are affected by the disorder are speech or communication, social skills, and the child will engage in repeatitive behavior. According to Survey, i in 45 children are diagonised with Autism. Early intervention before the age of 4 is very important for Autistic children to be integrated back to school and society. It is also very important for the society to understand and include people with Autism.
2nd of April is declared as World Autism Day by United Nations. As Blue color represented for Autism worldwide, so lets support Autism with IGoBlue.
Third Eye, Center for Autism, has taken an initiative to create Autism awareness among public with the campaign iGoBlue for Autism . for the past two years We had lit up several buildings including Railway station and clock with Blue light and have been encouraging public and private sector to support Autism by lighting up their bulidings in Blue and wear blue.
This year to make this reach more among Public we have planned to create the Biggest Rangoli Puzzle(15000sq Ft) with Blue color on 1st April 2018 at VOC grounds, Coimbatore.
Event Guest of Honor DR.K.VIJAYAKARTHIKEYAN, I.A.S. – Corporation Commissioner will deliver special message during the event at VOC ground . The main objective of this awareness event is to create understating and acceptance of Autism among public and parents. The event in VOC ground on 1st April 2018 is a grand celebration to acknowledge and celebrate people living with Autism.
